First memory of Chicago?

My dad and I drove to Chicago and spent the night at the Palmer House when I was 12, I had never been to a big city before and it stuck with me that this was one of the greatest cities on earth--I couldn't wait to finish school and move here.

What do you love about Real Estate?

I love the fact that while technically, yes we are in sales, that I am helping people build wealth, and empower their future, through real estate investment.  I go to bed feeling like I have helped my friends, and by coaching others in the business, our industry.  I truly love what I do and couldn't imagine doing anything else.

What do you love about Chicago?

The architecture, the great mix of urban culture and Midwest hospitality.

Favorite exercise to get beach body ready?

Barry's Bootcamp is my staple, but I am also training for the New York Marathon right now, so outdoor running as well.  I'm raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as part of my run, so I can't let them down!

Favorite Chicago pizza place?

Well, this is why I don't have anywhere near the best 6 pack in this calendar.  I love Blaze, which is dangerously close to my house in Lakeview.  Also Piece in Bucktown, dangerously close to my office.  I was born to fail these diets.

Favorite date spot?

Ping Pong in Lakeview.  I've taken at least one of the other calendar gents on a date there...needless to say they don't all work out. LOL!

First thing you would buy if won the mega millions?

Get a NetJets membership, then start flying around and buying up property for AirBnb vacation investments.

Favorite building?

Even after all these years, I still love the John Hancock building (yes I know its lost the Hancock name, but I'll always call it the Hancock).  The straight east facing units are incredible, and the idea of a full grocery store right in your building (on the 44th floor)?  Yes please!  If they only had outdoor space, I'd figure out a way to be there.

Zoo Lights or Christkindlemarket?

Zoo Lights, 100%.  I do a huge Zoo Lights party at my house every year, get my friends riled up on plenty of wine and music, and then pile into a stretch limo to go cause chaos at the Zoo.  The sight of 20 plus men piling out of a limo and entering Zoo Lights is pretty hilarious (or scary, depending on if you have children with you).

Alma Mater?

Valparaiso University, for both undergrad and law school.  I actually did finish law school and pass the bar exam before deciding to stay in real estate full time.  Best decision I ever made!

Boxers or briefs?

Briefs--I've finally forced myself to like leg day, so I am going to reap the benefits.
